General Laborer

Mancan Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer for a TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT to start May 6- May 31, 2024. This position is temporary and will end upon the completion of the job duties.
Specific industrial skills are preferred, adding valuable expertise to our team in Lawrenceville. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols. This opportunity is day shift, $16.00 per hour!
Responsibilities:
Efficiently and safely unload trucks, adhering to established protocols.
Clean and rectify dents and defects in containers to meet quality standards.
Thoroughly wash containers for reuse, contributing to our commitment to quality.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, promoting efficiency.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Additional Qualifications:
Fork Truck Experience: Highly desired; preference given to candidates with proven forklift operation skills.
Industrial Skills: Specific skills in machinery operation, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing processes are highly preferred.
Temp to Perm Potential: This role offers the possibility of transitioning from temporary to permanent based on performance and business needs.
Driver's License Requirement: A valid driver's license is required; candidates with a clean driving record are preferred.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a general labor or warehouse position is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong work ethic and a willingness to take on various tasks as assigned.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols is a plus.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
