Title: Material Handler
Starting pay rate: $10.00
Communicate with material handlers and supervision on all shifts to ensure accurate record keeping. Checks schedule daily to ensure delivery of raw materials. Operate computer system to run open purchase order lists and stoclc status reports. Reconcile inventory on standard stock items through cycle counting. Responsible for accurate record keeping on materials charged to jobs, transporting raw materials and finished goods to proper storage areas. Apply GMS and ISO principles and techniques effectively.
1. Inspect forklift daily before use
2. Unload, verify, stage raw materials, and complete material receipt forms.
3. Maintain accurate paperwork (material requisitions, returns, rejects), move stock from inventory to designated press.
1. Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices.
Lifting and Carrying- required frequently throughout the work day at an average pace. Items lifted/carried- cases- some in strained positions.
Maximum weight lifted/carried frequently up to 50 lbs.
Pushing and Pulling-required frequently throughout the work day at an average pace. Items pushed/pulled-pallets, pallets of stock utilizing a hand jack-some in strained positions.
Maximum weight pushed/pulled 51-100 lbs. of force
Occasionally -up to 1/3 of normal work day
Frequently -1/3 to 2/3 of normal work day
Continuously-2/3 to a full work day
Walking -frequently about on foot Stooping -frequently bending downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist. Crouching -frequently bending downward and forward by bending legs and spine. Kneeling -frequently bending knees or coming to rest on knees.

Simple reach upward-frequently reaching up within normal range. Extended reach upward -occasionally reaching up exceeding normal range. Fingering-frequently manipulating objects with fingers only.
Far vision -Occasionally required to see object clearly beyond 20 feet. Near vision -Frequently required to see objects clearly within 20 inches. Depth Perception -Frequent required to judge distances and relationships between objects
accurately. Field vision -Frequent required to see an area up and down or left and right with eyes fixed on one point.
Color vision -Frequently required to identify and distinguish color. Hearing-Frequently required to perceive the nature of sounds by ear. Talking-Frequently required to express ideas through the spoken word. Feeling-Frequently perceiving attributes of objects -size, shape, texture.
Read, write to a limited degree -perform simple addition and subtraction.
