Norton/Barberton area opportunity for a Part time Fiscal Assistant/ Administrative Officer. Performs complex secretarial and clerical work of administrative and fiscal nature. This is a detailed responsible position. Will interact with department heads and elected officials.
• Hours are part time - approximately 24 hours / week within Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
• This is a Temp to Perm opportunity
$19 / hr. pay rate
*Responsible for establishing and maintaining in appropriate files official documents and records.
*Processes incoming and outgoing mail
*Creates, posts and distributes meeting notifications as required to meet notification requirements.
*Organizes and Maintains all general accounting records, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation's deposit slips, vendors lists, computer files and other records required to provide a clear audit trail.
*Provides requested assistance to the auditors during audits
*An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
*2 years of experience in accounting, business or administration with private or public employer required.
*5 years of experience in accounting or administration preferred
*Must be bondable
* Must have a vaild driver's license
* Excellent computer skills required - MS Office
