Busy Janitorial Service Company in Greensboro is seeking a self-motivated Administrative Clerk
Must have verifiable history of being a trusted key-holder along with verifiable history of excellent organizational and time mangagement skills. Must also be local to Greensbor and the Triad Area and know the area very well. We are seeking a MATURE individual for this position.
The scope of this position would start out with primarily Records Management/Filing duties in the beginning of the job assignment. After caught up on the filing, other duties to include answering phones and assisting customers. Must be very affirmative on the phone with customers to move them forward to assisting them with booking their appointments for service and/or collecting payment over the phone for estimates, etc. There is potential growth in the position for the right individual that is a good fit for both the position and the environment of the company. Other duties would include putting marketing packets together the people doing the outside marketing to promote business and sell their services to potential customers. Assisting with payroll duties. Knowledge of QuickBooks a strong plus. The ideal candidate must be able to work well unsupervised and independently and work with a sense of urgency on their own while nobody is pushing them and just take the initiative to "get the job done" without having to be told to do it. Past work references will be verified in regard to having a strong work ethic while working unsupervised. "This means when the boss is not there, you are not on your cell phone checking your Facebook, Instagram, etc.". There is only one phone line going into the office but it stays busy so MUST be able to multitask with interruptions on a regular basis. This individual also must not be afraid to be by themselves at the office. This is one of several offices within a business complex and the Owner has never had any problems or issues of any kind therefore current and past employees have been in a safe environment there. This individual with have a "proactive" work ethic and attitude and be able to anticipate needs rather than waiting and being "reactive" after having to be asked to get something done. Position will involve mailing out Thank You cards to customers and sending follow up emails. Must be Internet savvy and email proficient. Able to put systems in place to stay organized is very important. Preference given to candidates with experience of knowing how to print out several hundred to over a couple of thousand labels at once for marketing campaigns and assist with all areas of marketing efforts of the Owner and the Staff.
Salary will be reassessed with potential rate increase available after an initial assessment period typically after the first 30-60 days and thereafter periodic assessments and evaluations at the Owners discretion.
