$15.00 an hour while training on 1st shift then you will move to your permanent shift which would be 2nd $16.00 an hr.
Cooperation of multiple thermal transfer printers simultaneously
Local Alliance company is seeking individuals with prior knowledge of Microsoft Windows, for a 2nd shift thermal printer operator opening, your main responsibilities would include:
1. Thermal Printing Operations: Operating and maintaining thermal printers to produce high-quality labels based on customer orders and specifications.
2. Job Setup: Setting up the printer for each label printing job, including loading the correct label stock and configuring the printer settings.
3. Quality Control: Ensuring the accuracy and quality of printed labels by monitoring the printing process and performing regular inspections.
4. Material Handling: Managing label stock inventory, organizing materials, and coordinating with the supply chain team for timely reordering.
5. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving printing issues, such as misprints, label jams, or printer malfunctions, to minimize downtime.
6. Data Management: Managing digital files and label templates, ensuring correct data input and maintaining accurate records.
7. Work Order Management: Following work orders and production schedules to prioritize and complete label printing tasks efficiently.
8. Team Communication: Collaborating with other team members, such as supervisors, quality control personnel, and shipping staff, to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
9 Shift Handover: Providing clear and comprehensive shift handover reports to communicate progress, challenges, and important information to the next shift.
Your role as a thermal printer operator is essential in the label making company, as it directly impacts the production of high-quality labels and ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
