Production Worker

Mancan is actively seeking skilled and dependable Production Workers to join our team at a metal fabrication facility in Canonsburg, PA. As a crucial member of our manufacturing process, you will operate machinery and contribute to the efficient production of quality products. This position offers an alternating weekly schedule between 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. This is a direct hire position at a union facility.
Position Details:
Shift Schedule: Alternating weekly schedule between 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM).
Differential: A 30 cents per hour differential for workers during their afternoon week.
Overtime: Mandatory; any hours over 40 are paid as time and a half. Typically scheduled for 48 hours per overtime week, with flexibility in scheduling.
Overtime Flexibility: Workers may flex 2 hours at the beginning or end of the normal shift time.
Overtime Scheduling Patterns: Options include 4-10s Monday through Thursday with an 8-hour shift on Friday, or 6-8s (Monday through Saturday), totaling 48 hours.
Advance Notice: Workers receive a heads up every Thursday before the upcoming Production Week regarding the OT schedule.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Transportation: Workers must have their own reliable transportation to and from the plant, as it is not on a bus line.
Overtime Commitment: Due to mandatory OT, workers must be available on any given Saturday.
