## Entry-Level Recycling Sorter

We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our recycling team. This position involves working outdoors in the elements year-round and performing physical labor in a fast-paced environment.

### Job Duties:
* Sort and separate recyclable materials including cardboard, paper, plastic, cans, and metal
* Empty remaining liquids from containers before materials enter the recycling process (employees will get wet when dumping expired liquids)
* Inspect incoming loads and remove unacceptable materials
* Safely deposit recoverable materials into appropriate bins
* Assist team members with heavy or bulky items as needed
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Perform general labor tasks as assigned
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures
### Work Environment:
* Work outdoors in the elements all year round (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
* Employees must **dress appropriately for all weather conditions**
* Exposure to dust, odors, and wet conditions
* Fast-paced production environment
### Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand for the entire shift
* Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
* Ability to lift materials throughout the shift
* **Mandatory overtime is required as scheduled**
