Machine Operator

Massillon Mancan is assisting a local Massillon company who is looking for candidates to fill their positions as a Machine Operator. Candidates will be a chip spinner running various machines, must be able to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs as well as do a lot of walking in the facility. This could be a dayshift or midnight shift and starting pay is based on exp.
Requirements:
Operate one or more Acme machines.
Maintains quality of work pieces
Makes adjustments and tool changing/sharpening.
Stock’s machine and pulls chips.
Maintains all fluid levels.
Keeping the machine and work area clean.
Paying close attention to details
Use measuring tools for machines – Micrometer, Calipers, Tape measure
Some blueprint reading
Quality check final parts
