Packaging Specialist Job Description II & III - Minerva OH
Must be able to lift 42 pounds repeatedly throughout shift.
🔹 Responsible for packaging and preparing cheese & butter for shipment, ensuring safe and quality products.
🔹 Reports to and collaborates closely with the Shift Supervisor.
🔹 Execute predetermined plans to maintain and improve facility safety and quality.
🔹 Excellent communication and active listening skills needed to coordinate with the packaging team.
🔹 Flexible scheduling available for all shifts.
**Essential Job Functions:**
🔸 Place retail packages of butter into shipping boxes.
🔸 Return unused bags to inventory.
🔸 Clean the area thoroughly.
🔸 Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policy.
🔸 Calibrate scales accurately.
🔸 Operate Label Printing equipment efficiently.
🔸 Complete hourly paperwork diligently.
🔸 Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment and robotic palletizer.
🔸 Ensure accurate application of sell-by dates.
🔸 Sweep and clean the warehouse regularly.
🔸 Ensure quality requirements are consistently met.
🔸 Promote and prioritize food safety.
- Support food safety programs by practicing proper hygiene and sanitation.

🔹 Effective verbal and written communication skills.
🔹 Highly personable and trustworthy.
🔹 Ability to motivate staff regarding Sanitation and Safety importance.
**Required Experience and Education:**
🔹 No experience Required.
🔹 Comfortable with a Fast-Paced environment.
🔹 Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is a plus.
🔹 Successful track record of delivering results.
