Job Title: CNC Machinist (Manual & CNC) - 1st Shift CNC MILL/Lathe
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
Location: Sebring, OH
Salary: $16 - $20 per hour (Pay based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to operate medium to large size lathes in a production environment. The ideal candidate will be able to load and position parts using overhead cranes, read and interpret blueprints, and work within precise specifications and tolerances. Candidates must have their own tools and a strong understanding of machining practices.
Job Description:Able to set up machines for each particular job, set off-sets as needed, select the proper tooling and inserts available for each job, operate overhead cranes and fork lifts, modify G-Code programs when necessary. Able to read micrometers, calipers and other inspection instruments associated with the job. Capable of reading customer drawings and holding tolerances to within .001” (and occasionally tighter). This is a job shop, processing orders of 1, 2, or maybe 4 piece typically.
This is a day shift position offering competitive pay based on experience, along with healthcare benefits and a 401(k) with company match. A valid driver’s license is required. Overtime, including Saturday work, will be required as needed to meet production demands.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who is willing to learn additional machines and take on a variety of tasks as needed within the shop.
