Operations Manager

Mancan Staffing is hiring an experienced Operations Manager for a steel company in Mogadore. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in steel or metal cutting—such as stamping dies, plastic injection molds, machine shops, or steel sales (e.g., ALRO).
$70,000–$85,000/year (based on experience) | Mon–Fri, 6am–5pm
Temp-to-Hire
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's in Engineering/Business + 8 years’ experience.
• Experience in steel manufacturing or metalworking.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and CAD/CAM.
• Leadership experience in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead production teams to meet goals and maintain safety.
• Improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize operations.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and scheduling.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Track performance metrics and report to senior management.
• Train and develop staff; manage inventory.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong knowledge of steel processes and quality standards.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Analytical, organized, and results-driven.
