Mancan Staffing is looking for a Lead Textile installer with light Alum. Fabrication. Textile installer to work with high skilled pattern makers, machine fabric cutters, and professional installers.
Must have - Previous aluminum fabrication knowledge
The Metal & Textile installer will work with skilled staff and help pattern maker set up/tear down and do laser scanning as well as other modern 3D capture methods. The same assistant will assist with automated marking/cutting of fabrics by helping loading raw fabrics and removing finished cut textile parts for the sewing department. This assistant will also help installer team install fasteners into textiles and other surfaces to attach textiles. Welding experience a plus as well.
Some Experience necessary! Will train the right candidate.
Want to be clear we are looking for an assistant, (Or more than one), to help others that have the required skills and the assistant will help on 3 different skilled tasks with the same or multiple people in a team environment. Assist Pattern makers. Assist fabric cutters. Assist general labor to install a textile fastener in house or on site. They will shadow until they can learn and do some/all on own.
Candidates can move upward into a career and become skilled trade’s person in the above categories, crew leader, department manager, or move into new trades like sewing machinist, 3D Computer Aided Drafts person, Sales and even Sr. Mngt.
