🛠️ Temporary Electronic Equipment Tester - 📍 Geneva, OH
Position Summary: This is a full time role, focused on testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment to meet production standards and schedules. You'll receive daily instructions, working on standardized tasks that vary day-to-day.
Responsibilities: 🔹 Perform assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies
🔹 Use test procedures, drawings, schematics, and written/verbal instructions to test and troubleshoot units
🔹 Recognize nonconformities and address them effectively
🔹 Communicate professionally and openly
🔹 Adhere to all safety and ISO practices
🔹 Maintain fixtures and perform calibration, preventive, and corrective maintenance
🔹 Assist with training other team members in established processes
🔹 Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies
🔹 Document test results accurately
🔹 Act as a technical interface between departments
🔹 Model professional work ethics and prioritize quality in decision-making
🔹 Perform other tasks as assigned
Work Environment: 📍 Location: Geneva, OH
🏭 Manufacturing setting—noisy and fast-paced
🛠️ Repetitive motion tasks using electronic assembly equipment
⏰ Overtime may be required
Essential Physical Requirements: Standing: 40% | Walking: 20% | Sitting: 40%
💪 Carrying: 30 lbs max | Pushing/Pulling: 50 lbs max
Qualifications: 🔸 Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical testing and circuit analysis
🔸 Soldering skills required
🔸 Electro-mechanical assembly experience
🔸 Team-oriented with effective communication skills
🔸 Basic reading, writing, and math skills
🔸 Component identification skills and ability to read technical documentation
🔸 Basic computer knowledge; SAP experience preferred
Experience: 📈 1+ years of experience with electrical circuit testing preferred
⚡ Familiarity with ESD practices and adaptability in a team environment
Education: 🎓 Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience
Compensation: 💵 $24 - $25 per hour
