Junior Production Scheduler – Sunbury, OH
Pay Range: $19–$20/hr
Status: Full-Time Temporary Contractor
A growing manufacturing company in Sunbury is working with Mancan to find a detail-oriented Junior Production Scheduler to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in production planning and scheduling while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily MRP (Material Requirements Planning) runs and issue jobs to manufacturing work centers in alignment with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) targets set by the corporate supply chain team.
• Assist with developing and maintaining short-term and long-term production schedules (daily, weekly, and monthly).
• Monitor production workflows, identify bottlenecks or delays, and escalate any issues to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with purchasing, logistics, warehouse, and production teams to ensure schedule alignment and material availability.
• Track the progress of production orders to ensure deadlines and customer requirements are met.
• Assist in generating reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and key metrics.
• Support the Kanban replenishment process for point-of-use and feeder cell materials to ensure consistent material flow to production.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Basic understanding of MRP systems and production planning processes (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Must be a US citizen.
