We're looking for a skilled and reliable Tooling Support candidate to join our Tooling/Die Repair Department!
Essential Functions:
Report directly to the Tooling manager
Work with the tool manager to coordinate the functionality of tools both production & service.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and hoist/cranes to repair and maintain dies and tooling equipment.
Utilizes calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to evaluate production components.
Must start and finish the apprenticeship program (if not a state certified Tool & Die Maker) if applicable.
Qualifications:
Tooling paperwork or extensive tenure in the tooling field.
Must be able to read, write & perform math skills suitable for the position with the company.
Must have knowledge of die shop and machining capabilities.
Must have mechanical ability.
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be detail-oriented and work in an organized and timely matter.
Must have the ability to use software applications relevant to this position.
