Mancan Parma Heights is looking for experienced floor installers! A Flooring Installer, or Flooring Specialist, performs the installation process of all types of flooring in commercial buildings. If you are an experienced staller of carpet, carpet tile, resilient flooring or ceramic tile we want to speak with you! You MUST have prior experience!
A Flooring Installer typically handles the entire flooring installation process, from measuring and preparing materials to installing and finishing the floor.
Specific Duties:
Removing and disposing of the old flooring material
Cleaning and preparing the bare work surface
Measuring the new flooring material
Attaching the flooring using adhesives and other fasteners based on the type of material
Checking the installation to ensure the flooring is straight and level
Applying any finishing materials, such as grout on tile or stain on wood
Ensuring work area and projects remain clean and tidy
Explaining care requirements to owners
Positions are 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri and the pay rate is based on experience from $19-29 per hour.
