General Payroll Clerk – Seasonal
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk for a seasonal position lasting through October. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a busy payroll department during our peak season!
Position Details:
• Schedule:
Start out working 3 days per week (Mon, Tues & Wed) during the training period
Increase to 5 days per week starting in August (will work Labor Day, too)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturdays may be required as needed
• Pay Rate: $18/hour
• Employment Type: Seasonal (through October)
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with processing weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Enter and verify employee hours and related data
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
• Assist with filing, data entry, and general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• Prior experience with payroll or general administrative work preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
