Job Title: Feed Bag Hopper Operator
Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Feed Bag Hopper Operator responsible for efficiently and safely placing feed bags over the hopper in a manufacturing or processing setting.
Responsibilities:
Preparation:
Gather necessary supplies and equipment for the task.
Inspect feed bags for any defects or damage that could impact the process.
Ensure that the hopper and surrounding area are clean and free from obstructions.
Bag Placement:
Lift and position feed bags over the hopper in a manner that facilitates smooth material flow.
Align the bags to prevent spillage and optimize the feeding process.
Monitor the rate of bag placement to maintain a consistent and efficient workflow.
Quality Control:
Inspect bags for proper placement and any irregularities that may affect the production process.
Report any issues or deviations from the standard operating procedures to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing the task.
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, including but not limited to gloves and safety glasses.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position with a 3pm-11pm Monday - Friday schedule
Pay rate - $ 15.05 temp to hire will get a raise once hired on
Qualifications and Requirements:
Physical fitness and ability to lift and maneuver feed bags of varying weights.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate bag placement and prevent material spillage.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Effective communication skills within a team environment.
