Mancan Staffing is helping out a Kent company who is looking for a Band Saw Operator!
Pay rate is $19/hr. OT is Available
2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm, May have to train on 1st shift which starts at 8am
Previous experience is required.
The Band Saw Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining band saw machines to cut steel tubing to specified dimensions. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and efficiency in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up and operate band saw machines to cut steel tubing accurately.
-Adjust machine settings, including blade tension, feed rate, and cutting speed.
-Load and unload steel tubing onto the band saw.
-Secure tubing properly to ensure precise and safe cutting.
-Forklift and overhead crane experience is required
Must have a valid driver's license with 2 pts or less.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
