Mancan Staffing is proudly assisting a busy and growing company in Kent in their search for a Forklift Operator for their 1st shift opening.
1st shift 9a-5p Monday-Friday
$18/hour
Temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate and room for advancement!
Key Responsibilities:
• Load, unload, move, and stack materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or by hand.
• Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and condition of materials.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Operate RF scanners or inventory management systems.
• Keep work area clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
• Must have a valid driver’s license with 2 points or less.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Proven experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous experience using a forklift
