What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring laminating equipment while ensuring top-quality output. Daily tasks include:
* Maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety procedures
* Measuring materials to ensure accuracy and proper machine setup
* Reviewing work orders and preparing equipment for each job
* Using required PPE and maintaining clean, organized equipment
* Mixing inks and coatings according to job specifications
* Monitoring pressure, temperature, roll size, job specs, and oven settings
* Loading foil, film, and paper using lifts, cranes, or hand tools
* Identifying machine issues and making necessary adjustments
* Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
* Recording production and quality data
* Troubleshooting problems and working closely with team members
* Supporting continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
What Makes You a Great Fit
* High school diploma or GED
* Strong desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
* Clear communication skills and ability to work well with others
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with laminating, manufacturing, or industrial machinery is a plus
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, safety-minded, and ready to take initiative
