🔧 Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
📍 Location: Eastlake, OH
🕛 Shift: 3rd Shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM, Monday to Friday)
💵 Pay Rate: $25.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience)
🔍 Position Summary:
We're hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team in Eastlake, OH! If you’ve got solid electrical and mechanical skills, and love problem-solving in a hands-on environment — this could be the job for you.
⚡ Electrical Responsibilities:
🔌 Install, maintain & repair electrical systems on industrial equipment.
🧰 Diagnose transformers, motors, rectifiers, wiring, lighting, and more.
⚙️ Replace relays, switches, motors, and sensors.
🛠️ Install wiring, sensors, valves, actuators, and bend conduit.
💻 Troubleshoot PLCs, servos, steppers, and relay logic systems.
📐 Read and interpret electrical & mechanical blueprints.
🛠️ Mechanical Responsibilities:
🏗️ Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
🪛 Replace damaged piping (air, chemical, water, hydraulic).
📏 Inspect parts for wear and alignment; adjust as needed.
⚖️ Align & fine-tune machinery to improve function & quality.
🔩 Operate machine tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) to repair or fabricate.
✅ Test all repairs for correct operation.
🗂️ Documentation & Communication:
📝 Log maintenance activities in company tracking software.
📦 Report parts used and inventory needs to Maintenance Supervisor.
📌 Perform other duties as assigned.
🎓 Minimum Qualifications:
🎓 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
💡 Preferred Qualifications:
🔍 Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting skills.
🖥️ Basic computer knowledge.
🎯 High attention to detail.
💨 Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
🔧 Metal fabrication, welding & cutting skills.
⚡ Experience with 480V 3-phase electrical systems (REQUIRED).
🧠 Knowledge of PLC programming & troubleshooting.
📘 Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints.
🛠️ Skilled in operating lathe, grinder, drill press for part repairs.
