CNC Operator

CNC Operator needed in the Austintown area. This is dayshift and temp to hire . The pay is based off experience ranging from $21,000 to $65,000 annually. CNC Operator position is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Resumes required
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
• Reads and interprets blueprints
• Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in CNC machinery
• Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming
• Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
• Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets
• Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
• Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Associates Degree or Trade Program certification
Field of Study CNC Operations
Licenses or Certifications None
Knowledge of the following areas is required:
Performing part measurement and gauging
Interfacing with a CNC
Making tooling decisions
Responding to machine malfunctions
Setting-up and operating a CNC machine
