Job Title: Plastic Film Machine Operator
Pay: 18.50
Shift: 2nd shift
Location: Strongsville, OH
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Transportation: This location is NOT accessible by public transportation. Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to accurately understand and work with measurements as part of the hiring process.
JOB SUMMARY
The Plastic Film Machine Operator is responsible for operating and overseeing machinery used in the production of plastic films. This position involves setting up and maintaining equipment, monitoring the production process, and ensuring the finished plastic film meets quality standards and production specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Machine Operation
Operate and monitor plastic film extrusion machines during production runs.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
Monitor the production process and make adjustments as needed.
Previous experience operating a Henshaw machine is a plus.
Machine Setup & Calibration
Configure and set up plastic film extrusion machines according to production specifications.
Calibrate machine settings to achieve the required film thickness, width, and other specifications.
Load raw plastic materials into the machine's feeding system.
Monitor material levels and replenish materials as needed to maintain continuous production.
Quality Control
Conduct regular inspections of plastic film to ensure it meets established quality standards.
Identify defects or production issues and take appropriate action to correct them.
Monitor finished product for consistency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience operating plastic film extrusion equipment is a plus.
Henshaw machine experience is a plus.
Must be able to successfully pass a measurement test.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production specifications.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to monitor machinery and make necessary adjustments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to bend and twist throughout the workday.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
