CAD Drafter

Mancan Staffing, in partnership with a well-established consulting engineering firm, is seeking a talented CAD Drafter to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality technical drawings that support innovative engineering solutions.
Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm, and pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and revise detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and project documents to produce precise, professional drawings
• Work closely with engineers and designers to create construction plans, layouts, and other project documentation
• Ensure all drawings meet company drafting standards and comply with industry codes and regulations
• Update and adjust drawings based on project feedback, design changes, or evolving requirements
• Maintain accurate digital records and organized documentation for all drafting projects
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or other CAD tools is a strong advantage
• Associate degree, technical certificate, or relevant training in drafting or engineering technology
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural blueprints and specifications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in civil, structural, or mechanical drafting is preferred but not required
