# **Assembler – Weekend Day Shift**
📍 Wooster, Ohio
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Assembler** to join our manufacturing team in Wooster, Ohio. The only shift availability we have for Assemblers is the **weekend day shift**, which works **Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM**, plus **two 8-hour shifts during the week**. The Assembler will be responsible for preparing and operating machines, monitoring production processes, ensuring quality standards, and assisting with basic maintenance.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Set up machines by installing tools and configuring parameters per work orders.
* Monitor production runs and resolve issues to maintain efficiency and product quality.
* Operate machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
* Inspect finished parts for accuracy, identify defects, and properly dispose of defective components.
* Support troubleshooting and preventive maintenance efforts.
* Follow all safety and production regulations, ensuring proper use of PPE at all times.
### **Qualifications:**
**Required:**
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
* Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
* Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects as needed.
* Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
**Preferred:**
* 1+ year of machine operating experience in manufacturing.
* Familiarity with power tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
