A Company in Fredericktown is looking for a General Laborer to join their team.
Job Title: General Laborer- Paint Department
Schedule: M-F 6am-4:30pm
Starting wage is $17hr
The General Laborer is responsible for assisting the Paint Department with a wide range of tasks. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient production environment. Flexibility, strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential for success in this role.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-Clean and grind components prior to painting
-Perform basic manual machining operations
-Use hand tools and measuring devices as required
-Assist with sub-assembly tasks
-Maintain cleanliness of the production floor using brooms and floor scrubbers
-Empty cardboard containers and garbage cans (including in offices when instructed)
-Clean all Paint Department areas including restrooms (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, etc.)
-Maintain interior and exterior of the facility in a clean and safe condition
-Assist in shipping and receiving tasks (packing, counting, organizing materials)
-Run local errands, pick up or deliver items/materials as needed
-Other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Relevant work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift up to 50lbs
-Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
