Canton Mancan is assisting a local company in hiring a QA technician. (INTERVIEW REQUIRED)
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Shift: 1st shift, 7am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspections and testing activities using various inspection tools and techniques; provide support to the production team as needed.
Inspect materials received, finished products, and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications.
Perform First Article Inspections and prepare First Article Reports in Excel.
Calibrate inspection equipment and maintain records in Gagepack database.
Perform 100% inspection and adjustments on some lots, as required by the customer.
Maintain inspection records according to company and customer standards.
Qualifications:
Read blueprints and experience using inspection tools: caliper, height gage, combo square.
Familiarity with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software.
Calibration experience; CMM and surface plate inspection techniques are a plus.
Dependable and self-motivated with a stable work history.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and dependable means of transportation.
Ideally, no criminal activity.
