Warehouse Turret Operator Driver

Mancan Staffing is looking for a TURRET DRIVER for a local Ashland company. This position is Temp to Hire. The turret Truck Operator position handles all the put-away, replenishment, picking, and inventory control functions in very narrow aisle sections of the warehouse. This position requires extreme safety awareness, understanding of WMS
as it relates to turret operator tasks, and requires a commitment to inventory accuracy. Forklift Experience is necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ability to drive a forklift (2 years recommended)
• Ability to drive a turret (2 years recommended)
• Ability to work when shipping, receiving, and production are working
• Maintains movement of warehouse goods and materials with accuracy using a handheld
• Ability to work fluently with BC via a handheld
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
JOB TASKS:
• Picking orders as assigned by Shipping Lead
• Putting away inventory as assigned by Receiving Lead
• Picking and putting away product using a turret, forklift, or stock picker as needed
• Maintaining accurate inventory levels while practicing FIFO
• Performs routine cycle counts as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the warehouse
• Availability to be on call for any and all Emergency Orders including protentional overtime
Requirements:
• Valid Drivers License - no more than 2 points on license
• Clean background
• Drug screen
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to remain in standing position for long periods of time.
• Minimal bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and crouching.
• Use of feet and hands to drive and grab boxes or wrap pallets with shrink wrap as needed.
• Must cautiously tolerate heights up to 40 feet without physical/mental restrictions.
This is a Monday through Friday position Hours - 7:00 to 3:30pm. Pay is $16.00. Must have your own transportation.
