Mancan is currently looking for a production associate for a local company in Fort Myers, FL.
Job Summary:
The Production Associate will be required to conduct production line job duties. Responsible for preparing cosmetic products, filling products in containers, closing filled products, counting, and labeling. Continuous goal to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities:
• Maintain a sanitary environment by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
• Prepare cosmetic products by portioning, mixing and cutting.
• Fill containers with portioned products.
• Close containers after they are filled.
• Create product packaging and label packaging.
• Properly use company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where necessary
• Maintain an accurate record and documentation of products managed in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Education / Certifications:
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience / Abilities:
• Attention to detail
• Awareness of work environment and products; reporting products not in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to count and document work
Travel and Hours:
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM
• Travel is not required for this position

• Employee independently pushes materials on rolling dollies up to 100 lbs
• Employee stands frequently between five and eight hours throughout the day
• Employee may be frequently seated between three and four hours throughout the day
• Employee frequently bends over to lift boxes and containers
• Employee frequently uses their hands in a repetitive manner
