Mancan in partnership with a Perry facility is in search of a 1st shift Brazing Machine Operator.


📍 Location: Perry, OH
🕓 Shift: Monday–Friday, 7am-3:30pm
💲 Pay:$18–$22+/hour (based on experience)


Position Overview

We are seeking a Brazing Machine Operator to support the setup and manual operation of vacuum/induction brazing equipment. This role is responsible for reading blueprints, assembling components, ensuring correct fit, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift, offering consistent hours and room for long-term growth based on performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and manually operate brazing equipment following established procedures
* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and parts lists
* Verify all parts are present and correctly matched before assembly
* Assemble tools, materials, and components for brazing operations
* Position and fit parts/subassemblies accurately
* Inspect brazed connections for quality and accuracy
* Make adjustments and minor repairs as needed
* Report errors or inconsistencies to the Production Manager

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous experience in manufacturing, metalwork, or brazing operations (preferred)
* Familiarity with vacuum or induction brazing equipment (a plus)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Willingness to learn and grow within a hands-on role
