This will be a salary role starting at $52,000 and up annually based on skills or internships.

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Chardon, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Accounting graduates or professionals with less than 5 years of experience to launch their career and gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of accounting functions.
Reporting directly to the Controller, the successful candidate will work across key accounting processes including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, inventory costing, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow within a manufacturing environment and develop a comprehensive understanding of accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform accounts payable functions in a timely and accurate manner
* Assist with daily account reconciliations to support efficient month-end closings
* Learn to maintain and reconcile fixed assets
* Provide required data through reporting portals to our parent companies
* Participate in month-end, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting activities
* Support audit preparation and internal control documentation
* Assist with inventory costing and analysis
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
* 0–5 years of relevant experience; internships or co-ops a plus
* Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Experience or familiarity with ERP systems preferred
* Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
* Detail-oriented, consistent, and thorough in work approach
* Interest or background in the manufacturing industry preferred (not required)
