This is a part-time, temp-to-hire opportunity perfect for someone who enjoys working in a structured office environment and has a strong focus on customer service, administration, and communication.

Position Summary:
As a Front Office Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of the company—handling incoming calls and visitors, assisting with sales order processing, and maintaining office organization and security compliance. This role is essential in keeping both the front office and sales operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Support
• Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate staff.
• Process customer inquiries, quotes, RFQs, and orders.
• Download and organize orders and customer documents.
• Audit and process sales orders, shipping documents, and international paperwork.
• Handle invoicing and data entry in line with company protocols.
Visitor Management & Security
• Greet and verify visitors’ credentials.
• Maintain and monitor visitor log per DHS compliance.
• Escort guests as needed and track visitor departure.
Shipping & Logistics Support
• Distribute Bills of Lading and shipping documents.
• Maintain outbound shipping log.
• Check in and route incoming deliveries (FedEx, UPS, couriers).
• Assist with warehousing support and month-end inventory reconciliation.
Administrative Support
• Perform filing, scanning, copying, and document handling.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
• Track and order office supplies.
• Provide break/lunch coverage for other office staff.

Qualifications:
• Experience: 1+ year in customer service or administrative role preferred.
• Skills:
o Excellent verbal and written communication.
o High attention to detail and accuracy.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
o Organized, dependable, and proactive.
o Strong multitasking and time management skills.
