Mancan in partnership with a Lake City, Pa facility is hiring a dependable and safety-minded individual for a Board Catcher position.
*The board catcher works alongside machine operators to catch, inspect, stack, and organize wood components as they come off production lines. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth workflow and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.
*Schedule & Pay:
Full-time Day Shift, Monday–Friday
Entry-level pay starts at $12–$14 per hour, with pay increases based on experience, performance, and tenure.
*Responsibilities:
Catch and stack boards as they exit production
*Inspect boards for defects, damage, or irregularities
*Maintain accurate counts and organize materials for the next stage of production
*Assist machine operators with loading and unloading materials
*Keep work areas clean, safe, and free of debris
*Follow all plant safety and quality procedures
Requirements:
*Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
*Attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
*Previous manufacturing or woodworking experience is helpful but not required
