Laboratory Technician

Barberton Mancan is assisting a Rubber industry leading company in Barberton that is looking to fill a Laboratory Technician for their Mixing and Molding Department.
Shift hours are 7a-3p Monday-Friday; with some flexibility
Pay starting at $19/hr
This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate
Required Capabilities:
• Performs lab work as assigned from Supervisory Personnel
• Responsible for lab-scale mixing
• Hand-on Experience with Polymers
• Work well in a group environment
• Works closely with other technicians
• Energetic team player
• Attention to detail
• Help cultivates a positive work environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Preferred Capabilities:
• Experience with milling, curing black and colored rubber
• Experience running a rheometer/viscometer and compounding
Education/Preferred Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent work experience in a testing lab/rubber industry.
Must pass a pre employment background check and drug screen
