**Salary**: Up to $22.00/hr (depending on experience)
**Shift**: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with possible weekends

### Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Machinist** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both **manual** and **CNC** machinery, with a focus on precision and quality. A background with at least **5 years of experience** in machining is preferred. Familiarity with a **horizontal boring mill** is a plus, but not required.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot both **manual** and **CNC** machines to produce high-quality parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations and dimensions.
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet exact tolerances and specifications.
- Operate machines such as **horizontal boring mills**, lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety standards.
- Ensure production timelines are met, including on-time completion of parts and assemblies.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools as needed.
### Qualifications:
- **5+ years of machinist experience** (manual and CNC).
- Experience with **horizontal boring mills** is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tool usage.
- Must be **reliable** and **punctual**, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- **Team-oriented**, with strong communication skills.
- Must have your own tools (preferred but not required).
### Work Schedule:
- **Day Shift**: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday (with possible weekend shifts as needed).
### Additional Information:
- **Temp-to-hire**: After a probationary period, candidates will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
