Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour
Position Overview:
Mancan Staffing is looking for reliable and skilled Cooks to join a fast-paced kitchen team! If you take pride in making great food, keeping things organized, and following top-notch safety and sanitation practices — this is the role for you.
Shift:
Monday–Friday with every other weekend
Hours may vary weekly
1st Shift options:5:00/5:30 AM – 1:30/2:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare meals for cafeteria service, patients, and catering using standardized recipes
Follow safe food handling, preparation, and storage practices
Assist with tray line service as needed
Keep work areas clean and maintain sanitary standards
Help out in other areas as needed (dish room, cafeteria, etc.)
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be willing to receive a flu shot
Able to pass background and drug screenings
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Commitment to food safety and cleanliness
Previous cooking or food prep experience preferred
