Housekeeper – Apartment Complex
Job Description:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining apartments, common areas, and facilities at two apartment complex locations. The position requires approximately 10 hours per week at each location (20 hours total). Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. The housekeeper ensures vacant units are thoroughly cleaned and ready for new residents, reports maintenance issues to management, and keeps cleaning supplies organized and stocked. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident units, hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and shared spaces at both locations
Perform deep cleaning of vacant apartments before new tenant move-ins
Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition
Remove trash and debris from assigned areas
Report needed repairs or safety concerns to the property manager or maintenance staff
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening!
