Job Description:
Mancan Marietta is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding, metal fabrication, and reading blueprints. This role is responsible for assembling, welding, and fabricating metal components according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metals
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
• Measure, cut, and prep materials using saws, torches, grinders, and other tools
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Operate fabrication equipment such as presses, shears, and brakes
• Perform basic maintenance on welding and fabrication tools
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Troubleshoot and correct welding or fabrication issues as needed
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a welder/fabricator required
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods
• Knowledge of metalworking tools and fabrication equipment
• Strong safety awareness and work ethic
• Certification in welding is required-must be able to pass 6g Weld Test
