CNC Lathe Machinist

Mancan Staffing is helping out a manufacturing company in Kent who is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Operator to join the team!
Hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch break.
Starting at $22/hour, maybe more based on experience
Duties
• Operate CNC lathe and CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
• Perform CNC programming and CAM programming for various machining operations.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements.
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC machines (lathe and milling).
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD software machining is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
