Mancan is hiring in Wheeling WV for an Employer Service Rep! This positon is full time, temp to hire opportunity working Monday-Friday 8am-430pm.
The ESS is responsible for managing document queues to complete member reimbursement requests, provider pricing verification requests, network pricing appeals, and member balance bills. The ESS will also prepare pricing appeal response letters and other written correspondence sent via email or postal service including certified mail when needed. The ESS is responsible for timely completion of requests from the operations team.
Required:
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Detail oriented and good critical thinking skills.
3. Superb organizational skills.
4. Able to communicate clearly and accurately with members, coworkers and management.
5. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
6. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Office).
Desired:
1. Previous administrative experience.
2. Knowledge in medical terminology and CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding.
3. Knowledge in health insurance.
Responsibilities:
1. Answers all calls and correspondence in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
2. Documents and tracks all information clearly and accurately.
3. Completes work within deadlines.
4. Communicates with members and providers as necessary to obtain information.
5. Manages multiple tasks and priorities.
6. Understands members benefits and plan to relay the information clearly and accurately.
7. Understands claim detail, identifies claim issues and reports issues to management when necessary.
8. Keep all member protected health information (PHI) confidential.
9. Supports Manager and Employer Service Reps when needed.
