Maintenance Technician

Mancan is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Brunswick, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, presses, tooling, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical and electrical skills. 1st shift temp to hire.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues with stamping presses and associated equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on machines, tooling, and facility systems according to established schedules.
Install, adjust, and service stamping dies, automation equipment, conveyors, and auxiliary machines.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, part usage, and PM activities.
Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve machine issues and improve reliability.
Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and company quality standards.
Assist with equipment upgrades, relocation, and new machine installations.
2+ years of maintenance experience in a metal stamping or manufacturing environment (preferred).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls.
Experience troubleshooting 200–800 ton stamping presses (transfer, progressive, or blanking).
Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in an industrial environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
Any entry level- no experience candidate that is mechanical- would be 17-20/hr based on prior experience.
A seasoned candidate with direct experience in stamping industry would be 26-32/hr depending on resume/experience
Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug test. You will need to interview with this company.
