Canton Mancan is assisting a nursing home in hiring Housekeepers.
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with previous housekeeping or environmental services experience.
Candidates must have a clean background, be flexible with scheduling, and be available to work evenings and weekends.
Position Overview:
Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to high-quality standards in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
Change linens, make beds, and ensure personal living spaces are well maintained
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces according to facility protocols
Dispose of trash and biohazard materials following safety and infection-control guidelines
Restock housekeeping carts and supply closets regularly
Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly
Follow daily cleaning schedules and meet time requirements
Provide respectful, professional interaction with residents and staff
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience required (healthcare experience preferred)
Must have a clean background
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: Based on experience.
