Mancan Marietta is seeking an experienced Auto Technician with a solid, hands-on understanding of the automotive field. This position involves working primarily on gas vehicles, with no diesel knowledge required. Daily responsibilities include performing oil changes, brake services, engine and transmission work, diagnostics, suspension repairs, and a wide variety of general automotive repairs, as our shop handles nearly anything that comes through the door. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area and assisting with general shop maintenance as needed.
Candidates must have proven hands-on experience in automotive repair, preferably with two or more years in the field, and must supply their own basic tools. The ability to work a consistent 40-hour workweek is required. Starting pay for the first 90 days will range from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and skill level, with pay adjustments made after the initial 90-day period. We are open to reviewing applications from individuals who can support their skills through hands-on experience and/or professional references. At this time, we are not seeking candidates who are brand new to the field or just out of school. Diagnostic experience or major engine repair experience is considered a strong plus.
