Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems while delivering excellent customer service. Our company provides 24/7 service, so flexibility and on-call availability are essential.
Schedule:
• Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• On-call rotation required (24/7 service operation)
Primary Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine system inspections
• Respond to service calls promptly, including after-hours emergency calls as scheduled
• Clearly explain system issues and repair recommendations to customers
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Maintain a professional, clean, and presentable appearance while representing the company
Qualifications:
• Previous HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional and presentable demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in various environments, including attics, basements, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods
