Mancan is hiring Plastic Injection Molding in Bolivar!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plastic Injection Molding Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate plastic injection molding machines and ensure the efficient production of high-quality plastic parts. The successful candidate will have prior experience in operating plastic injection molding machines and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Job Duties:
Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to established production schedules and quality standards.
Set up molds, adjust machine settings, and perform necessary equipment adjustments to ensure proper molding processes.
Monitor the injection molding process, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to maintain optimal machine performance and product quality.
Perform regular inspections of produced parts to ensure they meet specified quality criteria, making adjustments as needed.
Remove finished plastic parts from the molds, trim excess material, and perform any necessary secondary operations to prepare parts for further processing or packaging.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic machinery issues and process deviations to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Conduct routine maintenance on injection molding machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, rejects, machine performance, and any issues encountered during the production process.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for oneself and coworkers.
Collaborate with the production team and shift supervisor to meet production targets and resolve any operational challenges.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with workplace standards.
Continuously monitor and improve injection molding processes to optimize productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Train and mentor junior operators as needed to ensure consistent skill development and adherence to best practices.
Flexibility to work the specified shift (7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday) and potential overtime as required. Rate of pay $13.00
