Mancan Staffing is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fitter for a well-established company in the Warren area. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth. Pay is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Monday – Friday
Position Overview
The Structural Steel Fitter is responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel components according to blueprint specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, blueprint reading skills, and hands-on fabrication experience.
Key Responsibilities
Fit structural steel components according to blueprint and job specifications
Perform light metal fabrication and MIG welding
Manufacture customer products to exact blueprint requirements
Align and assemble parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, and squares
Clamp, tack, and secure components prior to welding
Operate fabrication equipment as needed, including:
Metal punch
Metal shear
Metal saw
MIG welding equipment
Requirements:
Experience with MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficient with measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Must provide own tools
Must wear steel-toed work boots
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
