Mill Operator

Mancan is working with a company in Berlin seeking a mill operator. This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate based upon attitude, attendance, and performance. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm with Saturday overtime as needed. Pay is $16 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rubber milling equipment to process rubber compounds
- Load raw rubber and additives into the mill following batch formulas and work instructions
- Adjust mill settings, roll gaps, temperatures, and speeds to achieve proper mixing and consistency
- Monitor rubber flow, banding, and sheet formation during operation
- Accurately complete production, batch, and quality documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience required

Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to follow precise formulas and instructions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
