Mancan Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator / Welder for a growing manufacturing operation in Wellsburg, WV. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with metal, welding, and fabrication in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do
• Fabricate, weld, assemble, and finish steel and aluminum components and assemblies
• Perform bending, cutting, forming, grinding, and welding operations
• Safely operate manufacturing equipment such as press brakes, drill presses, grinders, iron workers, saws, shears, and other hand/power tools
• Move and organize raw materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
• Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the facility
• Accurately label materials, complete production and safety documentation, and prepare items for shipment
• Communicate equipment issues or material defects to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members while also being self-directed
• Assist in other areas as needed (cross-training provided)

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, construction labor, or metal fabrication
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and measurements accurately
• Strong attention to detail and applied math skills
• Forklift, OSHA 10/30, AWS welding certifications are a plus (not required)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Tools & Equipment
• Experience with metal fabrication tools such as benders, presses, lathes, shears, grinders, saws, nail guns, and related hand/power tools
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and measurement devices
• Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, hearing protection, and other task-specific equipment

Physical Requirements
• Safety-sensitive position subject to drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs using proper techniques
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout a 10-hour shift
• Work performed in a manufacturing plant environment with temperature and particulate exposure

Schedule
• Monday–Thursday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
• Full-Time (40 hours/week)
