Mancan Staffing is partnering with a local rubber manufacturing facility in Ashtabula, OH to hire a 2nd Shift Supervisor. This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable, non-fiberglass work environment.
Position Overview
The 2nd Shift Supervisor will oversee daily production operations, lead a team of employees, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and support production employees on 2nd shift
* Monitor workflow, staffing, and daily output
* Ensure safety policies and plant procedures are followed
* Communicate production needs and issues with management
* Provide training, coaching, and leadership to team members
* Maintain quality standards and assist with problem-solving
Qualifications
* Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
* Dependable attendance and commitment to teamwork
